There are two communication boards - I don’t feel well and At the Hospital.
I don’t feel well - this board shows children displaying a range of emotions when they are unwell. At the Hospital board - this board shows words of things/people that you might find at the hospital.
There is a matching worksheet for each board where children write a word or phrase beneath the 12 colour pictures.
Page 5 asks children to think of words and phrases a doctor might say to them and complete the boxes by writing in their own words.
Page 6 shows a nurse instead of a doctor. Again children fill in the empty boxes with their own words or phrases.
